As the president of FIDIC, I am delighted to invite you to the FIDIC Asia Pacific annual conference in olombo, Sri Lanka, from 15-17 November 2026.

This conference, hosted by the Association of onsulting Engineers Sri Lanka (ACEP) alongside FIDIC Asia Pacific, reflects our shared ommitment to strengthening theglobal infrastructure community through collaboration and innovation, especially inthe fast-moving area of technology and digitalisation.

The conference theme, AI Revolution in Engineering and Project Implementation, is an interesting and inspiring one and offers an important platform for industry leaders, innovators and future thinkers to explore how artificial intelligence isreshaping the world of engineering, infrastructure and project delivery across the Asia Pacific region and indeed, the whole world.

As always, this conference also provides a key opportunity to share international best practices through the many technical sessions and panel discussions. But this is more than just a conference – it’s an opportunity to exchange ideas, build professional networks and inspire innovation across the engineering and consultancy sectors across the region.
